14th International Student Conference on
Electrical Engineering

at Faculty of Electrical Engineering, CTU Prague

HERE you can find pictures taken during the conference.

The objective of the international student conference POSTER 2010 is to provide an international forum for presentation of the undergraduate and postgraduate student research work in the field of electrical and electronic engineering and informatics. All accepted contributions will be presented as posters (maximum poster size is given by 75 cm width and 95 cm height) in six parallel one-day sessions and published as full-papers in conference proceedings (on CD-ROM). All sessions will have a scientific track and an engineering track. Papers will be accepted based on technical contents and quality of presentation including good English (both tracks) and on originality (scientific track) or innovation (engineering track). NOTA: All authors must have a student status!

Best papers, rewarded by the evaluating committee, will be invited for publishing in Acta Polytechnica, the scientific journal of the Czech Technical University in Prague.

Following papers have been accepted for the POSTER 2010 Conference. Would you please note that some papers have been transferred to sections the names of which better reflect paper contents.

All contributions will be presented as posters in eight parallel one-day sessions. The maximum poster size is given by 75 cm in width and 95 cm in height. In the space 10 cm by 10 cm in the upper left corner the poster identification (Section_Number) should be placed. Use types sized 100 points.
Example: NS 9 or EI 10.
Authors are also invited to bring transparent sellotapes for attaching posters to poster stands.


There is no registration fee for accepted participants.


Papers in English language should be formatted according to the sample paper (pdf). The sample paper for MS Word for Windows (*.doc) is here, LaTeX template is here (without guarantee:-)).
Authors are requested to submit their papers electronically to the conference web site. Please, do NOT send the papers by e-mail. The file size in the pdf format (all fonts embedded) is limited to maximum 1 MB. Papers should be at least 4 pages long, the main criteria being the completeness of the information which is presented. Authors are invited to include their short professional curriculum and an ID-sized photo at the end of their papers.


Submission of papers is closed.


The conference POSTER 2010 will be held on Thursday May 6, 2010 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague, Technická 2, Prague 6, Czech Republic (Underground line A, station "Dejvická").


The Poster 2010 conference will provide presenting autors who are not Prague residents with two free nights (from May 5 to May 7, 2010) in Masarykova kolej, to see the location on the map click HERE. The number of such courtesies is limited to one per paper, usually for the first autor.

Other authors wishing to stay in Masarykova kolej will pay "university guest" rates (single room: 820CZK/night, double room 545CZK/night based on the full occupancy).

Accompanying persons will pay standard rates (single room: 1320CZK/night, double room: 845CZK/night based on the full occupancy).

All rates include breakfast. All fees are payable at the hotel desk.

Booking for all cathegories is made during the registration/uploading paper process.
